Bad North Sea spill

The first leak have been discovered last week, and according to Shell, everything is under control on their crude oil platform in the North Sea.

However, some guys with a helicopter discovered a second leak on the damaged “Gannet Alpha” this days. The exact place of the leak is still unknown, but sign forebode a very special and hard to reach underwater place of the platform. It is also unknown, how many barrels of oil could pour out.

Since the first leak, 216 tonnes of crude, which makes around 1,300 barrels of oil spilled in the North Sea.
