The last one in summer didn’t showed that results the international industry expected. As for their meet in December, it looks like the members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries will not change their decision about their plans about oil futures.
According to Iran’s Governor to OPEC Mohammad Ali Khatibi, they are all satisified with the actual price level, not just the consumers, but also the producers.
“The situation is such that most OPEC members are expected to agree with maintaining the current level of oil production.”
The average level stays around $100, and this since the start of 2011.
“Prices aren’t expected to fluctuate much,” Khatibi said.
The meeting will take place in Vienna, on December 14.
