Consumer confidence is decisive for keeping the macro economics humming at a time of crisis. Especially when the crisis is looming for years and won't go away.

Unlike the forces of nature, those of finance enjoy the atmosphere of a tense and stormy status quo. Detente would bring more movement, more traffic, hence more pollution -- a good excuse to rob the average citizen at the gas station and to cram the shuttle trains with workers. For those having to drive a distance to the workplace, sooner or later, if not already, the Autobahn can't be an option any more because one can't spend too much of a wage on fuel.

Saudi Arabia has announced that it is about to send a wall of supertankers towards the US in order to bring down the artificially inflated oil prices. Whatever the local political moves of the backstage, a stable and healthy global economy relies on reasonable energy prices -- and the patience is running low. At least we can applaud the maritime wall, even if it's a metaphor, let's hope that more oil infused in the US economy will make it just a bit easier...

Evergreen Solar was a hot item a few years ago, when investors realized the Umboogo Ad. was going to blindly dump billions of dollars into the solar industry.

We here urged people not to invest in these type of companies, because solar is not yet a viable industry-and it will not be until someone invents a way to capture the sun's energy and transform it into usable power other than using rare trace minerals to do it. Get that through the nutty, dreaming Left's brain and you should receive the Dinky Button of the year. I've tried. It's impossible.

Leftists are so sold on the myth that natural earth fuels are evil (or mining them is robbing their god, the earth) that they simply cannot understand the fact that solar power in mass usage is decenniums away. Or either, they will not face that fact. Certainly, to think as they do they must live their lives in total denial, so their brains might simply be able to block out facts they don't like. The latter I believe with all my heart is the case.

Intro to Crooked Politician Finally Brought Down

The late John Murtha (Dum. PN) and Norman Dicks (Dum. WA) have stolen more money than even LBJ, who went to Washington in the early 1930s driving a 1922 jalopy and left in 1968 with 44-million in his bank account and owned banks and TV and radio stations across Texas. He went home to a 2200 acre ranch (called the Texas White House) that had its own airport. The only job Johnson ever had was that of a school teacher, at which he made $46.00 per month back in the 1920s. He made less than $800.000 during his time in the Federal Government.

Both Murtha and Dicks' family and friends have made hundreds of millions by their using their power to get them under- and over-the-table state and federal grants and contracts.

Nowadays, these political thieves put their assets in their family's names-and tell their constituents they're worth little to nothing. After getting caught, they simply resign, then skate out the door freely. Many of them won't leave after getting caught. Charles Rangle (Dum. NY) is an excellent example of that. The Dumborat led House Ethics Committee found him guilty of eleven violations and reprimanded him (a real joke). He stepped down from his post as boss dog of the Ways and Means Committee, where he presided as a king. He has refused to resign from office saying, let the people vote me out. You couldn't nuke this man out of his Harlem congressional seat.

Similarly, the late Dan Rostenkowski (Dum. ILL)-a known crook-having come right out of the sidewinderly crooked Cook County Machine in Chicago. (Has there ever been a decent politician from Illinois? I wouldn't dare ask, honest, but only decent?)

Intro to "Rush Limbaugh Isn't the Only Media Misogynist," by Kirsten Powers

I myself don't even relate to the words that some people claim to get so upset about. I was raised by and live by the adage that "stick and stones might break your bones but words can never hurt you," and I encourage others to do the same. Pay no attention to meaningless taunts and jabs.

That is not absolute, however. Impugning someone's integrity is certainly improper (and it is not meaningless), unless the proof is there. E.g., we commonly call Obongo a liar because we have the evidence to prove it-and he has not slowed down in the least. I doubt that he will because one part of the media will not say certain things about him-and the other part fears to say certain things about him. He knows that, and thus runs freely over the nation (read: world) lying and deceiving anyone who will listen to him. The man is certainly a much better liar than the last three presidents. He can spit out a big one and not flinch. It's really quite disconcerting he lies so easily and calmly. It's as if he believes what he's saying himself.

It's less about "energy independence" for a nation and more about private sector extraction, transportation and refining of crude oil - a commodity on the global market.

As all of you know, I don't get mushy when someone dies that I don't know-personally. And I don't make saints out of people simply because they've left this flesh. As far as I'm concerned, the truth ought to be the truth no matter where a person is, and that's one of the two things I want more than anything: truth. The other is freedom. For without those we may as well rename America Babylon.

Andrew Brietbart died this week at age 43. He was an expert at exposing what leftists are really doing rather than what they say they are doing. He was at times a blowhard. He was definitely a narcissist, perhaps not to the point that Obogo is, but nevertheless... He had no faith; his god was the fight, the attention, the roar of it all. He often took up for the enemies of freedom whom he liked. He hung around with neo-cons because he was one, partied with leftists, and was a Middle-East War Monger. He opposed Ron Paul, as all the neo-cons do.

Intro to Malkin's Article: An Opportunity to Rid the Senate of Three RINOs

The RINOs and neo-cons (pretty much one in the same) in the Republicoward Party are as big a problem as the whole lot of the Devilrats, because most of the voting public have no idea how sneakily leftist they are. They need to go and this election year provides us with an excellent opportunity to get rid of them.

To save the nation from an economic catastrophe, we must get rid of the people who backed TARP and the bailouts of AIG and the broke car companies who, though Obogo is going about this week bragging about how well GM is doing, still owe $23b on their "loans." (give me $80b and see if I can keep a broken business afloat)

Fannie and Freddie need another $4.8b immediately from the taxpayers to survive after dumping $180b into that black hole, and Obogo has just announced that he is providing two broke solar-panel companies with another $2b. Meanwhile, the Party of conservative fiscal policies allows a RINO to get them in an argument over contraception. As I've said, they don't call them the Stupid Party for no reason.

Note that 100,000 Dumborats showed up Michigan to vote for Santorum, a state in which anyone registered can vote in the primaries. That ought to wake up any brainwashed lunch-box carrying ape as to who the phony is in this primary, eh?

Have Ever Put Forward Rick Santorum is a Big Government statist who believes the president has powers not given him in the Constitution. He has stated that a too strict reading of the Constitution gives citizens too much freedom. "A radical freedom," he called it. The fact is, we need a whole lot more freedom in this country-not less. In the last eleven years we've lost more freedoms than we have in the rest of my lifetime, and I well remember the last years of Ike. That's over 50-years ago, through the '60s and on through to 2012.

This is one of the few candidates I've seen the Republicowards put up that may be worse than John McCain-if that is possible.
