2010 eruptions of Eyjafjallajökull were volcanic events at Eyjafjöll in Iceland which, although relatively small for volcanic eruptions, caused enormous disruption to air travel across western and northern Europe over an initial period of six days in April 2010. Additional localized disruption continued into May 2010. The eruption was declared officially over in October 2010, when snow on the glacier did not melt. 14–20 April ash covered large areas of northern Europe when volcano erupted. About 20 countries closed their airspace (a condition known as ATC Zero) and it affected hundreds of thousands of travelers. The European flights avoided about 344,109 tonnes of CO2 emissions per day, while the volcano emitted about 150 000 tonnes of CO2 per day.
This year, the skies of South America, South Pacific and even Australia, are cooled by the shadows of more tremendous ash clouds spewed out by the eruption of the Puyehue volcano in the Andes mountains of southern Chile. Seems the winter will be colder this year in the Southern Hemisphere.
No catastrophic signs of the panic inducing global warming alarm. Unless you don't live inside the fantasy world created by Hollywood with disaster movies such as "The Day After Tomorrow" or "2012," you should be fine in the real world, where industries pollute more of the physical and mental health of surrounding populations than the planetary ecosystem.
Stop staring at the hypnotic TV, stop listening to the mainstream media "global warming hoax" and start googling more on controversy topics, searching for sane debates of opposite opinions, for digits and counter-digits that prove or disprove official statements.
Think with your own mind to discover the obvious. That nature is several orders of magnitude beyond the harm that man-made gas emissions can do to her. That global warming is not man-made but, same as global cooling, it is just a naturally alternating process at work for eons, within different margins, before man walked the earth. It is about geology and solar meteorology and not about your SUV. That the carbon tax is yet another trick to take your money. That fuel tax in Europe eats about three quarters of the price per liter of gasoline. That America will follow shortly.
That efficient energy production is strangled by excessive taxation. These public funds are supposed to cover experimental endeavors into green fields that already prove to be unsustainable and more threatening to the environment than gas and oil. Because natural gas and crude oil create less pollution per KWh of energy produced than any other alternative, short of maybe the nuclear one. Oops...
